Flybondi is a low-cost fast growing Argentinian airline based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The airline operates 12 aircraft (B737-800) and managed to double its pre-pandemic passenger traffic in 2022. On its fifth anniversary in 2023 Flybondi is also increasing its network and fleet incorporating 7 additional aircraft.
Bureau Veritas experts supported the airline during this challenging ramp up phase.
Flybondi decided to ensure the highest level of safety through having its Safety Management System audited in 2021 and 2022 by a recognized and trusted third party.
The Safety Management System (SMS) is the formal organization within an airline that is dedicated to enhancing operational safety and mitigating risks. It achieves this by collecting, processing and disseminating Safety information (reports from personnel about dangerous situations, for instance)
From report collection, to corrective action plan strategies, Bureau Veritas experts performed a thorough audit including documentation review and personnel interviews.
